We’re hiring an experienced **Med-Surg Registered Nurse** for a travel assignment in Illinois!

**Requirements:**
• **Minimum 3 years of Med-Surg nursing experience required**
• Active **Illinois RN License**
• Strong adult acute-care nursing experience
• Ability to care for Med-Surg, Swing Bed, and higher-acuity/PCU patients
• Strong assessment, prioritization, and clinical judgment skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork

**Assignment Details:**
• **13-week contract**
• **Night shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM**
• 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend
• No on-call requirement
• **1 position available**
• No holiday coverage listed
• No guaranteed hours
• W-2 employment only

**Unit & Patient Care:**
• Blended Med-Surg unit
• Swing Bed patients
• Occasional PCU-level patients
• Typical ratios: **1:5 Med-Surg**
• **1:5–6 Swing Bed**
• **1:3–4 PCU**, depending on patient acuity/drips
• Supportive team environment with strong shared decision-making

**Key Responsibilities:**
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients
• Perform assessments and develop individualized plans of care
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments
• Monitor patients for changes in condition
• Care for higher-acuity and PCU-level patients as assigned
• Manage patients requiring cardiac/medication drips as appropriate
• Coordinate care with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide patient and family education
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Participate in quality-improvement and unit-based initiatives
• Promote compassionate, patient-centered care

CloudinfraIT Inc Job ID #299114. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
