Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Lewiston, ME. This role involves providing high-quality care on a 37-bed unit that specializes in surgical and telemetry services. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in surgical nursing and telemetry, with strong skills in dysrhythmia interpretation and management.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS or BCLS certification, at least 2 years of experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing; experience with dysrhythmia interpretation, bariatric familiarity preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification, bariatric experience, ultrasound IV experience.
  • Additional Information: Candidates should have experience managing diagnoses such as diabetes mellitus and pneumonia, trauma, and general surgical cases. The unit uses equipment including specialty beds, wound vacuums, and Baxter IV pumps. Knowledge of electronic health records such as EPIC and Omnicell is required.
