Job Details
- Position Description: This role assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The nurse is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered and utilizes specialized knowledge and skills to provide appropriate care based on physical and developmental age of patients.
- Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, or a temporary/interim RN license, or compact RN licensure; BLS certification. Experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months as an RN in the specialty area is preferred. The position requires a minimum of 0 years of experience.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The role involves interacting with all levels of staff, physicians, patients, families, and external contacts. It requires the ability to stand, walk, and respond quickly to patient needs, including lifting up to 75 pounds and using proper body mechanics. The position supports growth through precepting and mentoring, and may involve supervising staff and workflow.
