Job Title

Med Surg - Registered Nurse (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
  • Float as needed among like units within the facility
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
  • Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with facility standards

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license valid in the state of Georgia or compact state eligibility
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1–2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
  • Ability to float among like units as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior travel nursing experience
  • Experience with night shift in a fast-paced acute care environment
  • Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new team settings
