Job Details
- Position Description: Med Surg (MS) RN on the Diabetic Renal Unit, with orientation start on 10/19 or 11/2. The unit does not accommodate block schedules and requires flexibility to meet scheduling needs. The assignment runs from 11/02/2026 through 03/20/2027, with shift hours of 12-hour days (7 am 7 pm) and minimum weekly hours of 36.
- Required Qualifications: 2 years of relevant experience, active VA or Compact license, BLS certification.
- Additional Information: Candidates must do charge nurse duties, including receiving a pay differential and training. All RTO requests must be included in the submission packet. Travelers are expected to work at least one major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Years Day). The facility is a teaching hospital, and staff may interact with students and new hires.
- Schedule: Days, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Submission Requirements: All RTO must be included at the time of submission. Declinations for Covid/Flu are accepted, and candidates must have a valid active VA or Compact license at the time of application.
