Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse - Night Shift - Location: Palisades Medical Center. This position involves evaluating patients, assisting physicians with patient care, and implementing nursing actions based on patient needs. The role requires developing and coordinating individualized care plans while advocating for evidence-based practice standards.
Job Details:
- Shift: Night Shift
- Hours per Week: 36
- Required Qualifications: NJ Registered Nurse License or multi-state compact license, BLS (Basic Life Support), NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification, 2 years of recent strong Medical-Surgical experience, ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) degree.
- Certifications & Licenses: NJ RN License, BLS, Telemetry Certified.
- Responsibilities include performing Vent/Trach Care, Perinatal Dialysis, managing general Medical-Surgical patient care, and documenting in Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for managing patient care, performing clinical procedures, and documenting according to standards of care. No on-call requirement.
