Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift Information

This position is for a night shift, requiring 3 twelve-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30.

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a medical-surgical setting.
Participate in the wound salvage program, providing support for patients with wounds and peripheral vascular disease (PVD) through coordinated care for surgical interventions, antibiotics, wound cultures, wound vacs, and pain management.
Address the needs of patients, including when amputations are necessary.
Float to other units within your skillset as needed.
Work every third weekend as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

Must have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
Completion of at least one travel assignment is required.
BLS certification is mandatory.
NIHSS certification is preferred.

Vaccination Requirement

All employees are required to have the flu vaccine as a condition of employment.
