• Travel: Must live 60+ miles away

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of Med/Surg experience
• TN RN license
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• Tennessee Abuse Registry check before start

Unit Details

• 19-bed Med/Surg unit
• Patient ratio: 1:5
• EHR: Medhost
• Patient population: Mainly geriatric and adult; very limited pediatrics
• Float required: May float to:
  • Medical Detox
  • ICU
  • OB
  • ER
• For OB/ER: task assignments only
• ICU: may take low-level Med/Surg overflow patients at 1:3 ratio
• Equipment: Welch Allyn vitals, Masimo, CareView, telemetry, Sara Stedy, ARJO lift
• Unit Secretary/Monitor Tech available at nurses' station

Dress Code

• Scrub color: Any
• Not allowed: Print scrubs

Main hard stops: TN RN license + 1–2+ years Med/Surg + BLS/ACLS/PALS + willingness to float + 60+ miles for travel.
