Job Description & Unit Details

We are actively seeking an experienced Ortho/Neuro Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at Franciscan Health Indianapolis. You will be working on the 6 West Ortho/Neuro unit, a 34-bed floor caring for patients recovering from stroke, neurological conditions, post-op back surgeries, and hip fractures.

  • Patient Ratio: 1:5
  • Weekend Requirements: Every third Friday/Saturday, plus a minimum of 2 Sundays per schedule.
  • Call Requirements: None.
  • Floating: Required.
  • Charting System: Epic
  • Equipment: Alaris pumps, Pyxis
  • Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs. Note: Nose rings are not allowed per facility policy.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, with explicit orthopedic and neurological background clearly listed on your resume.
  • Licensure: Active Indiana RN license or multi-state compact license in hand.
  • Certifications: AHA BLS required at submittal (NIHSS preferred).
