Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for night shifts. This position requires working 3x12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment.
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6-7.
• Participate in weekend shifts, with a requirement to work every other weekend.
• Rotate during holidays as needed.
• Float to meet facility needs, including moving between similar units and sister facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted.
• License: Must hold a current South Carolina license or a Compact license prior to starting.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Additional Information

• Block schedule accommodations can be requested but are not guaranteed.
• Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are not accepted.
• All requests for time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission for consideration based on facility needs.
• Guaranteed hours include a provision allowing the facility to call off one shift every two weeks.
