Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with over 3 years of Med/Surg experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must possess strong expertise in utilizing EPIC and demonstrate confidence in managing a diverse patient load which may include total care patients.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to a wide variety of patients, including those in medical, orthopedic, general surgery, telemetry, and stepdown units.
Effectively manage a patient load of 5-7 patients, ensuring high standards of care and patient safety.
Utilize EPIC systems efficiently for patient documentation and management.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.

Schedule

This position requires flexibility in scheduling, which includes:

Rotation 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Thursday, Friday
Rotation 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday

On-Call and Holiday Requirements

Candidates should be prepared for potential weekend obligations, including working every third weekend, and holiday shifts as required.

Qualifications

Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Med/Surg nursing.
Proficient with EPIC electronic health record system.
Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to handle multiple patient cases effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information

The position is subject to a radius rule of 50 miles for applicants. We encourage qualified candidates ready to make an impact in patient care to apply.
