Job Details

  • Qualifications: Current nursing license, minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical experience, recent travel experience required for all Centra positions, and at least one major holiday work required. Certifications such as BLS and ACLS are preferred, along with Cerner electronic health record experience.
  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, starting on 10/05/2026 with potential end date of 01/02/2027.
  • Additional Information: Orientation sessions begin on 10/5, occurring every other Monday. The typical nurse to patient ratio is 1:6, with a patient mix including GI bleeds, COPD, CHF, diabetes complications, ESRD, dementia, TIA/stroke, A-Fib, hypertension, sepsis, vascular issues, among others. Ancillary support includes lab draws, EKGs, CNA assistance, and supply room access. Nurses may be required to float to sister campuses, and all staff are expected to foster a culture of support.
  • Submission Requirements: Include work history with at least 2 years of experience, explain employment gaps over 90 days, skills checklist, and proof of license.
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS (preferred).
  • Experience: 2 years in medical-surgical nursing.
  • Special Notes: All candidates must have recent travel experience, and RTO (Request to Return) is limited and must be included at the time of submission.
  • Sliding Expectations: Must work at least one major holiday during the assignment period.
