Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Rehab/Med Surg

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation and Medical-Surgical team. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Scheduling Details

Shift Hours: 3x12 hour shifts, nights, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block
Holiday Requirement: Must work one holiday within a 13-week contract
Call Off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
First-Time Travelers Accepted: Yes
Pending Licenses Accepted: Yes, provided the candidate holds a single-state license from a non-compact state

Required Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support)
CRRN (Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse) preferred
CPI Blue Certification highly preferred

Required Clinical Skills

Experience in Medical-Surgical and Rehabilitation settings
Skilled in peripheral line care/management
Knowledgeable in non-invasive airway management and oxygen administration
Understanding of isolation precautions

Unit Details

Patient Ratios: 1:6, may flex to 1:7
Common Patient Diagnoses: SCVA (Stroke), SCI (Spinal Cord Injury), TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury), amputees, and multi-trauma cases
Unit Size: 33-bed adult Medical-Surgical unit (no telemetry)
Potential Floating: Nurses may be required to float to adjacent units as needed
