RN – Med/Surg/Telemetry | Concord, NC

Shift: 12-Hour Days | 7:00 AM–7:00 PM | 36 hrs/week

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg/Telemetry RN experience
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and stroke-care experience
• Experience with trach care, PIV starts, chest tubes, NGT/feeding tubes, drains, Foley care, PCA pumps, and cardiac/heparin drips
• Epic experience preferred
• First-time travelers considered

Unit/Patient Population: 10-bed Med/Surg/Telemetry unit; common cases include chest pain, syncope, angina, and stroke.

Ratios: RN 1:5 | CNA 1:10

Floating: Travelers must be flexible and may float to other units and regional facilities within scope of practice, including ICU and ED Med/Surg assignments.

Schedule: Every other weekend; travelers work 75% of holidays. Up to 6 days RTO permitted, excluding holidays.

Orientation: NEO + 2 days departmental orientation
