Job Summary
Medical Surgical RN Location: unspecified. This position involves delivering comprehensive nursing care in a high-acuity Renal Med-Surg unit specializing in patients with acute and chronic kidney disease, post-dialysis needs, and complex medical-surgical conditions. The role requires managing a diverse patient population with continuous monitoring, assessments, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Job Details
- Position Description: Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in renal and medical-surgical care, managing patients with acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and post-dialysis needs.
- Certifications and Education Requirements: Active Ohio RN license, current BLS certification, Epic Electronic Medical Records proficiency.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of recent Med-Surg and Telemetry experience; renal experience strongly preferred.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week, every other weekend required.
- Additional Responsibilities: Deliver nursing care, interpret telemetry strips, collaborate with nephrologists and interdisciplinary teams, float to similar Med-Surg units as needed.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must meet all prerequisites at submission; competency test required on Day 1 with immediate contract termination upon failure. No on-call requirement.
- Start Date: September 21, 2026, with end date December 21, 2026.
- Other Details: Facility reserves the right to cancel hours as necessary; RTO must be disclosed at submission and included in confirmation.
