Your Role
- Provide nursing care to patients in an Acute Neuro unit.
- Monitor patients' conditions and recognize changes in neurological status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow established nursing protocols.
- Support the unit's additional seven overflow beds.
✅ Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical or relevant specialty experience.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- Ability to work night shifts and a varying schedule.
- Must be willing to work the required holiday schedule.
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS certification.
Holiday Requirements
Candidates must be available to work:
- 2 major holidays out of 3: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.
- 1 minor holiday: The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
Important Contract Requirements
- Travel candidates only; local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible.
- Compliance must be completed by the Wednesday before the Monday start date.
- A badge photo is required.
