RN - MedSurg/Tele | Travel | Winston-Salem, NC

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a skilled RN with experience in MedSurg/Tele to join our team in Winston-Salem, NC. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of Med/Tele experience and be comfortable managing a variety of medical and surgical cases, including respiratory and cardiac patients. This position is well-suited for those with the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic care setting.

Assignment Details

  • Start Date: Not provided
  • Shift Details: 3x12 Days
  • Patient Ratio: RN: 1:5
  • Estimated gross weekly pay package: $1890 (negotiable)
  • Charting System: Epic

Responsibilities

  • Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage intravenous medications such as Cardizem, Nitro, and Amio
  • Provide care for surgical drains and complex wound care
  • Collaborate with CNAs, charge nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Float to various units including Rehab and MedSurg Overflow as needed

Qualifications

Required:

  • 1 year Med/Tele experience
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
  • Skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation, wound care, and use of PCA pumps

Preferred:

  • Previous travel experience
