Job Requirements

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a compact state
• At least 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Ability to read telemetry strips
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic documentation experience preferred
• PALS certification preferred
• Must be willing to comply with facility dress code; black or white scrubs
• Must meet applicable travel radius requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to adult Medical-Surgical patients
• Monitor patient status, perform assessments, and communicate changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments according to nursing standards and provider orders
• Recognize and respond to changes in cardiac rhythms and telemetry strips
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and fellow nurses to support patient outcomes
• Document care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record
• Support a positive, team-oriented patient care environment
