• Schedule Notes: Open to block scheduling; weekend rotation includes 3 weekend shifts per month

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg or Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience required
• Active RN license in good standing
• BLS required
• ALS required
• NIH certification required
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a busy inpatient care environment
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and communicate updates to the care team
• Administer medications and perform routine nursing interventions according to plan of care
• Support common unit procedures including general surgery-related care, EKGs, colonoscopy, TEE, EEG, and wound vac management
• Use unit equipment such as vital sign monitors, glucometers, Polar Ice, and CBI as needed
• Collaborate closely with CNAs, providers, case management, and therapy teams to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on excellent patient outcomes
