Requirements: BLS REQUIRED; ACLS REQUIRED; MED/TELE - 2+ YEARS OF SPECIALTY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED; 2+ YEARS OF HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED; Active TX RN License - Temp license are NOT accepted; Compact RN License - Active; Documentation system: Meditech; Experience with the following: General Med Surg, Initiate IV, NG, Foley, dressing change, ADL; Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role); The RN is responsible for decisions and actions within the domain of nursing practice. Important aspects of this responsibility are the promotion of a safe and therapeutic environment for both the recipients and providers of nursing care; acquisition of specialized knowledge skills and additional formal education to provide specialized care; demonstration and validation of competence in nursing practice; clinical practice consistent with the policies, procedures and standards of this facility; and supervision of other staff as designated within the department. Must be competent in all areas: Patience Experience, AIDET, Bed Side Reporting, Hour Rounding and Service Recovery Step.
