Experience Requirements

• Minimum: 2 years
• Preferred: 3+ years

License & Certification Requirements

• IL Registered Nurse License
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Job Responsibilities

The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg units. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Evaluating patient needs and delivering structured nursing care.
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Performing patient assessments and monitoring vital signs.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educating patients and their families regarding health conditions and plans of care.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to float to all Med/Surg units as needed.
• Availability to work every other weekend.
• Participation in holiday shifts as needed.
