Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Vascular Surgery / Med/Surg

Location: Birmingham, AL

Shift: 3x12 Nights

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Pay Range: $1,585.64 – $1,865.46 / week

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Vascular Surgery Med/Surg Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract in Birmingham, AL. In this role, you will provide specialized direct patient care for medical-surgical patients undergoing vascular surgery procedures (M7-PM unit).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality direct nursing care to post-operative vascular surgery and med/surg patients.
• Perform routine neurological, circulatory, and site assessments to monitor post-surgical healing.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and wound care according to established clinical protocols.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, attending physicians, and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Monitor patient vital signs, document clinical progress, and respond promptly to changes in status.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active RN License (Alabama or eNLC Compact License in hand).
• Certifications: Current BLS required.
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of recent Med/Surg or Vascular Surgery experience preferred.
• Schedule: 3x12 night shifts.
