Job Description:

The Clinical Nurse performs a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments, and ability to work independently in completing assignments. Guidelines include physician's orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures manuals, and hospital policies. Nursing duties include support to individuals of all ages and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Support individuals of all ages and their families through nursing care procedures.
• Work independently in completing assignments following physician's orders and hospital guidelines.

Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of experience working as a nurse in an acute or sub-acute facility.
• A valid, current, full and unrestricted Nursing License to practice nursing in any state of the United States of America, The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
• Must have and maintain current valid certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) within six months of hire.
• National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke Scale (NIHSS) must be completed within 6 months of hire.
