Job Summary
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) Nights in the healthcare organizations short-term acute care facility, this position involves providing care to adult and geriatric patients across various medical-surgical units. The role requires flexibility to float between units and contribute to patient recovery and safety in a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details

• Location: Milwaukie, Oregon (and surrounding facilities)
• Position Description: Will position float between units. The role involves caring for adult and elderly patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, pneumonia, cellulitis, alcohol withdrawal, AKID, diabetes, substance abuse, acute hypoxic respiratory failure, and dementia with behavioral disturbances.
• Certifications & Education: Valid state nursing license; at least 1 year of experience; experience with charting systems (Community Hospital preferred); required certifications include current BLS and ACLS.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Responsibilities: Must have a vehicle for assignment; flexibility for floating to different units and facilities; ability to work holidays, with specific scheduling commitments upfront.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with interdisciplinary support teams such as IV Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, and others.
• Submission Requirements: Candidate must respond to whether they have previously worked at a facility within the organization, including location and dates. Two references covering one year (or six months for CNAs) within the last three years are required prior to start.
