Position Summary
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical-Surgical Ortho/Neuro unit. The unit primarily cares for Med/Surg patients, with orthopedic and neurological experience preferred.
Schedule
- Shift: 3 × 12-hour nights
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
- On-Call: None; may be placed on an 8-hour on-call shift due to low census
Requirements
- Active South Carolina RN License or Compact RN License (required before start)
- BLS required
- ACLS preferred/required per facility checklist
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience preferred
- First-time travelers considered based on experience
- Experience with Epic EMR required
- Ortho/Neuro experience preferred
Ideal Candidate
An RN with:
- At least 2 years of Med/Surg experience
- Strong Ortho/Neuro and telemetry skills
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Willingness to float between like units as needed
- Availability to work night shifts and every other weekend
