NIGHT-SHIFT MEDICAL SURGICAL RN CONTRACT – EAST TEXAS COMMUNITY HOSPITAL
First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel contract opening for an experienced Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) Registered Nurse (RN) in Athens, Texas. Operating within Med/Surg Floor 1 at UT Health Athens (Ardent Health Services), this position offers a structured 3x12 overnight schedule (19:00 PM - 07:00 AM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). If you are an acute care nurse skilled in adult and geriatric medical-surgical care, non-titrated cardiac drips, dysrhythmia interpretation, and Epic EMR, this assignment is built for you!

Location Details: Assignment is located at UT Health Athens, 2000 S Palestine St, Athens, TX 75751. ⏱️ Assignment Timeline: 13-week contract running from September 21, 2026, through December 21, 2026. County Restriction Checklist: Travelers residing in Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris counties will not be considered. Compliance Hardstop: Candidate must be able to complete core onboarding tasks and lab work within 48 hours of contract signing. All RTO must be requested upfront at time of submission.
