Description:Unit Information:(Medical Oncology/61102) Location: Medical City Plano Address: 3901 W 15th St, Plano TX 75075 Floor: C2 Building: C Tower General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds 30 Number of Staff 52 Staff members Type of staff: Day Shift (1 Charge Nurse, 5-6 RN s, 2-3 PCT s, 1 Unit Secretary) Night Shift (1 Charge Nurse, 5-6 RN s, 2-3 PCT s) Patient Ratios 5:1 or 6:1 MAX Type of equipment Standard equipment EMR Meditech On Call Requirement NA Floating Requirement - NA Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. BLS, RN Med Surg experience Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Oncology Experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): GI procedures Gyn Onc procedures Best personality Fit: Kind/Supportive Team Player Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. Staff are required to be here by 6:45 am/pm and attend huddle at 6:53 am/pm. What makes this unit special is the people and nurses that are floating to this unit always want to come back because their peers and manager are very supportive and won t hesitate to jump in and help.
