Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Crestview, Florida.

Job Summary:
Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical (MS) Nights Specialized Stroke Unit. This position requires a dedicated nurse to provide care on the Medical Surgical floor with a focus on stroke patients. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care during night shifts at a healthcare facility, supporting the needs of patients with acute conditions.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights (6:00 PM 6:00 AM), minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Active Florida state or multistate license, Basic Life Support (BLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS); minimum of 2+ years recent Medical Surgical (MS) Registered Nurse (RN) experience. NIHSS and Stroke experience must be included in submission.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), experience on stroke units, familiarity with scrubs in Gray or Teal colors, and adherence to dress code.
  • Additional Information: This position is open for immediate placement with an initial duration of 13 weeks. The role requires recent MS RN experience and specific stroke care knowledge. The facility utilizes scrubs in Gray or Teal. Placement may involve float to other units as needed.
