Mother Baby RN — Denver, CO

Assignment Details

  • Shift: Days, 3x12s
  • Contract: 36 guaranteed hours/week
  • May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency, based on business need
  • May be required to be on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
  • Employer: SCL Health

Role Overview

  • Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
  • Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care
  • Evaluates health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data
  • Performs health teaching and counseling
  • Provides supportive and restorative therapy and treatment, directly or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others
  • Executes delegated medical functions
  • Refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
  • Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans
  • Documents per hospital and regulatory guidelines
  • Promotes SCL Health's mission, vision, and values, and abides by service behavior standards

Requirements

  • ASN required (graduation from an accredited nursing program); BSN preferred
  • Current RN license in state of practice
  • BLS (AHA) required
  • ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for the unit
  • Previous RN experience preferred
