Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Mother-Baby unit. This role involves providing exceptional care in both postpartum and antepartum settings.

Responsibilities

Provide care to postpartum and antepartum patients, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Float within skill set, including NICU, to care for Level II nursery patients as needed.
Participate in clinical reviews and assist in care planning as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule

This position requires a rotating day and night schedule every six weeks. Nurses will work 36 hours per week, including every other weekend and every other holiday. Shifts include:

Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Qualifications

Current RN licensure, with the ability to submit with a pending Virginia license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required.
Proficiency in using Epic electronic health record system.
Must be willing to float within skill set as needed.
