L&D Clinical Supervisor – Assignment Summary
- Position: L&D Clinical Supervisor
- Shift: 12-hour Day Shift
- Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts/week
- Distance Requirement: Candidate must live 50+ miles away
Required Qualifications
- L&D experience: Minimum 2 years
- Supervisor experience:Required — submit only candidates with prior supervisor experience
- Cerner experience: Required
- BLS: Required
- ACLS: Required
- NRP: Required
- AWHONN Intermediate EFM: Required
- Current RN license: Required
Responsibilities
- Provide shift-to-shift clinical oversight
- Manage staffing and patient flow
- Ensure patient safety and appropriate resource utilization
- Maintain the environment of care
- Provide competent and efficient patient care
- Lead/participate in process-improvement initiatives
- Support employee engagement and shared governance activities
- Role-model organizational values
Key screening point: This is specifically a supervisor-level L&D role, so candidates without prior L&D supervisor experience should not be submitted.
