Trusted Talent is seeking a travel nurse RN Manager for a travel nursing job in Flandreau, South Dakota.
Shift: 5x8/DAYS, GT: 40, Start: 2 weeks from offer, MUST BE WOUNDCARE CERTIFIED, facility can provide housing if available, facility will conduct their own background and drug screen in conjunction with the background and drug screen the traveler will complete for his/her agency - the results of the facility background and drug screen can take anywhere from 7-10 business days to post - the traveler cannot start their assignment until the facility has the results of their own background and drug screen.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
• Assists the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the day-to-day operations of the Nursing Services department, as well as its programs and activities, in accordance with current state and federal laws and regulations.
• Interprets and communicates policies and procedures to nursing staff, and monitors staff practices and implementation.
• Participates in all admission decisions as indicated. • Participate in daily management team meetings to discuss census changes, resident changes in status, complaints, or concerns.
• Participate in QAPI or facility assessment activities as needed, such as performing duties assigned as part of a performance improvement committee.
• Facilitates, serves, attends, or participated in various committees of the facility as appointed REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years of experience - wound care certified - will work with DON to ensure on-call coverage - will accept the on-call rotation
