Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a long-term care setting. The RN will provide high-quality care to residents while adhering to essential nursing practices and policies.

Shift Information

3 alternating 12-hour shifts per week
Day shift from 06:30 to 19:00
Every other weekend rotation required
Some holiday work may be necessary

Responsibilities

Provide bedside shift reporting (BSSR) for seamless communication among care teams.
Implement the AIDET framework to enhance patient interaction and service satisfaction.
Conduct hourly rounding on residents to ensure their comfort and address any needs promptly.
Oversee and coordinate care delivery in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Assist with documentation and management of patient health records.

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in long-term care required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
