This role involves providing patient care in a 20-bed long-term and 17-bed rehabilitation unit, with an emphasis on wound care and following physician orders. The position requires recent LTC experience and offers a 12-week contract starting on August 24, 2026, with scheduled 12-hour day shifts.
Job Details:
- Certifications: WI RN license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Education: Associate Degree or Certificate.
- Minimum Experience: 2+ years required, with strong LTC and post-acute care experience.
- Location Requirements: Must be able to float to Peabody Manor (40 miles).
- Schedule: 12-hour days; guaranteed 36 hours per week; start date August 24, 2026.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Wisconsin RN license, minimum of 2 years of recent LTC experience, strong wound care skills, ability to follow physician orders, proficiency with PIV insertion and blood draws, charting experience preferred with Epic and Pyxis highly preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience is strongly preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to Peabody Manor.
- On Call/Call Back Requirements: None.
- Orientation: 5 days total (1 day onboarding and 4 shifts with a preceptor).
- Interview Days: Monday through Friday.
- Shift Notes: 12-hour days; any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks of absence.
