This position involves providing specialized nursing care to patients in a Long Term Care environment within a healthcare facility. The LTC RN will utilize the nursing process to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care, demonstrating leadership and critical thinking skills while adhering to hospital policies and state regulations. The role requires coordination with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Position Description: The LTC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for shift accountability for patient care, utilizing critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in care delivery. The RN maintains clinical competencies through continuing education, delegates patient care appropriately, and supervises assigned personnel.
- Certifications: Must have ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications through the American Heart Association, and a valid CO or multi-state compact RN license.
- Experience: 1 year of clinical experience in Long Term Care or Telemetry preferred.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Must have vent/trach experience, knowledge of central lines, and preferably wound care experience. Patient ratios are 1:6. Submittals without the required documentation and template will be rejected.
- Submission Requirements: Please include years of clinical and travel experience, EMR experience, certifications on file, and attached SSN & DOB, RTR, and Vendor Submittal Packet. Indicate if the candidate has worked at a hospital facility previously, requested time off in the past 3 months, and provide available interview times within 72 hours.
