Job Summary:
Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare facility. This role involves partnering with residents and care providers to deliver a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment. The unit specializes in long-term placement, including working with residents with dementia and Alzheimers disease, while providing short-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing services.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Associates in Nursing, valid State of Maine or compact RN license, 0 years of experience required, strong teamwork and communication skills, ability to work within a team of care providers, flexibility to cover 24 hours/day, 7 days per week, and float to other units as needed. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous RN experience preferred, knowledge of medical terminology recommended.
  • Additional Information: Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered. Up to 16 hours of orientation may be unpaid. The healthcare facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract. Candidates must reside outside of a 50 mile radius.
