    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents in a 40-bed facility, maintaining a 1:20 nurse-to-patient ratio
    • Document patient assessments and care using ECS charting system
    • Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs, including potential floating to nearby sister facilities
    • Adhere to scheduled shifts (Days: 7:00-19:30 or Nights: 19:00-7:30) as assigned based on facility needs
    • Obtain Alaska Food Worker Certification during on-site orientation prior to beginning patient care (one-time fee applies)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Alaska RN license - must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted
    • BLS certification required
    • Minimum 1 year of RN experience; first-time travelers not accepted - previous travel experience required
    • Long-term care (LTC) experience required
    • Must be willing to work at least 3 of the 5 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
    • Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Familiarity with ECS electronic charting
    • Flexibility to work either day or night shift rotations as needed
    • Demonstrated ability to adapt to varying patient census and staffing needs in a rural or remote care setting
