Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to long-term care and skilled nursing residents during mid shift hours
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for residents
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor and document changes in resident condition and communicate findings to the care team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality resident outcomes
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or a compact license
- Experience working in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to commit to an 8-week contract assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel or contract nursing experience
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems used in LTC/SNF environments
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in a long-term care setting
