Job Title: RN Supervisor Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Long-Term Care Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Long-Term Care experience required License: Must have Client License Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Supervisor experience in Long-Term Care Description: This is a RN Supervisor role. The nurse will supervise others and work a medication cart. Candidates must have at least 1 year of RN Supervisor experience in Long-Term Care. Local candidates are preferred. The role involves working with Alzheimer's and dementia patient populations. First-time travelers are accepted. Candidates must work every other weekend upon center request. RTO (Request Time Off) is only approved at the time of submission. Once a shift is offered, it cannot be changed or have additional RTO added. All call outs must be given with ample notice, more than 24 hours prior. Attendance and punctuality are essential. Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments as prescribed. The nurse will monitor and report changes in resident conditions. Timely and accurate documentation is required. The position involves supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) on assigned units. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills. Strong organization and attention to detail are vital. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is necessary. Dependability with consistent attendance is required. The facility provides state and government-run Long-Term Care services including rehabilitation therapies and memory care.
