Join a dynamic team as a Registered Nurse in our Post Acute Unit! We are looking for passionate nurses to provide exceptional care and make a lasting impact on our patients’ lives.
**Key Highlights:**
- **Immediate Start:** CRU must commence within the next week.
- **Licensure:** Must have a valid license on file at the time of submission.
- **Background Check Requirements:**
- 7-year background check (nationwide, county court searches, FACIS3, and sex offender) within 18 months of the start date.
- FACIS 3 and VCIC within 30 days of start.
- **Travel Requirements:**
- Tiered rates based on mileage (measured by direct line):
- Local: 50 miles or less
- Radius: 51-100 miles
- Travel: 101 miles+
- **Schedule Expectations:**
- Minimum of every other weekend required.
- Flexible scheduling to meet the needs of unit and patient care.
- Floating to other units as needed.
- Must work 2 out of 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day.
- **Experience Requirements:**
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
- Must have prior travel experience.
- EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable.
- **Certification Preferences:**
- Dementia capable care certification preferred.
**Additional Information:**
- **Orientation:** Bi-weekly orientations on Monday; secure your spot early!
- **Employment Gaps:** Ensure all employment gaps over 90 days are explained.
- **Complete Work History:** All prior work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) must be detailed for submission.
- **Transportation:** Public transportation options are limited; reliable transportation is essential. Personal or rental vehicle recommended.
- **Vehicle Requirements:** Ensure your vehicle has all-season or snow tires from November to April.
