Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility.
Assess residents’ health conditions, monitor vital signs, and document changes in their medical status.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans based on residents’ needs.
Assist with managing chronic conditions and coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other nursing staff as needed.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing assessments, medications, treatments, and resident progress.
Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the appropriate healthcare provider.
Follow infection control protocols, safety standards, and facility policies.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations and long-term care standards.
