Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a long-term care/skilled nursing unit with a staffing ratio of 1 RN per hall
• Conduct Bedside Shift Reporting (BSSR) in accordance with facility standards
• Utilize the AIDET communication framework in all patient and family interactions
• Perform hourly rounding on all assigned RN units
• Collaborate with med techs and CNAs to ensure continuity and quality of care
• Float to other units as needed based on facility staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required - American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of 1 year of long-term care experience required
• Must pass a telemetry exam prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher; up to three attempts permitted under defined criteria)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible - local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Bedside Shift Reporting (BSSR) and AIDET communication frameworks
• Familiarity with cardiac rhythm interpretation, including identification of lethal rhythms
• Experience working in a skilled nursing or long-term care environment with similar staffing ratios
