Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to residents in a 40-bed long term care setting across three wings
Administer medications utilizing bubble pack medication carts
Document resident care and maintain accurate records using MatrixCare electronic charting system
Work every other weekend as part of a schedule posted four weeks in advance
Participate in a brief orientation period, including a facility tour and one job shadow shift prior to independent practice
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Long Term Care setting
Active RN license in the State of North Dakota or a valid Compact RN license
Active BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association
Reliable personal transportation required - no public transportation is available in the area
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with MatrixCare or similar electronic health record systems
Familiarity with bubble pack medication distribution systems
Ability to accommodate block scheduling arrangements
