Key Responsibilities
Serve as Charge Nurse during day or overnight shifts in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting
Provide direct nursing care to a geriatric population, with a focus on residents with dementia-related diagnoses
Maintain appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios in collaboration with facility staffing (2 nurses on days, 1 overnight nurse)
Document resident care and clinical information using the PointClickCare (PCC) EMR system
Participate in facility orientation, including time with the LEAD team and supervised floor shifts
Adhere to weekend and holiday rotation schedules as assigned
Required Qualifications
Active RN (Registered Nurse) license in the state of Minnesota or a compact state license
Ability to work 12-hour charge shifts (days or overnight) in a long-term care/SNF environment
Availability for every other weekend and every other holiday coverage
Must reside more than 80 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard travel rates
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
Experience working with geriatric populations and residents with dementia
Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) or similar EMR platforms
Previous charge nurse experience
