Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized resident care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor and document resident health status, reporting changes to appropriate clinical staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality resident outcomes
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or a compact state license
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel or contract nursing experience
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems used in LTC settings
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in a long-term care environment
