Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility setting
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized resident care plans
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Monitor and document resident health status, reporting changes to appropriate clinical staff
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality resident outcomes
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or a compact state license
Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment
Current BLS/CPR certification
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel or contract nursing experience
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems used in LTC settings
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in a long-term care environment
