**Job Description:**

**About the Units:**
- **3 East:**
- A specialized 31-bed unit focusing on residents with Alzheimer's and dementia.
- Utilize both verbal and non-verbal communication techniques.
- Understand and respond to the unique behaviors associated with dementia, providing tailored care in a home-like setting.
- **Transitional Rehabilitation Unit:**
- This 42-bed unit supports patients recovering from short-term illness or injury.
- Offers skilled nursing and rehabilitation services, including IV therapy and wound care.
- **3 West:**
- A 42-bed long-term care unit dedicated to providing compassionate care for residents needing extended placement.
**Job Requirements:**
- **Education:**
- Associate's degree in Nursing
- Valid State of Maine or compact RN license required.
- **Experience:**
- 1-3 years of previous RN experience.
- **Skills:**
- Familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to work well within a team of care providers.
- Flexibility to cover shifts 24/7 and float to other units as needed.
- **Substitution:**
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
