Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a long-term care and skilled nursing facility setting
• May be asked to fulfill charge nurse duties as needed by the unit
• Respond to call-back situations with a minimum of 2 hours applied; on-call must be pre-approved by the unit/department manager per facility policy
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures regarding scheduling, on-call, and patient care standards

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license - verification must be dated within 30 days of submittal
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 professional references within the past 2 years, with at least one from a manager or supervisor
• Completed skills checklist including Age Specific Competency
• Must live at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment
• Familiarity with charge nurse responsibilities in an LTC/SNF setting
• Additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS) a plus where applicable
