Key Responsibilities
Provide direct resident care in a long-term care / skilled nursing environment during night shift hours
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans for residents
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure continuity and quality of resident care
Maintain and present valid state or federal issued photo identification at all times while on assignment
Comply with all facility infection control and health requirements, including applicable COVID-19 vaccination or documented exemption policies
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of New Mexico
Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
Must be a local candidate to be eligible for this assignment
Must provide a valid state or federal issued photo ID upon arrival at the facility
Must have completed original or updated COVID-19 vaccination series, or possess a documented religious and/or medical exemption from employer; additional doses required where mandated by law
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience working as agency or registry nursing staff
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems used in SNF environments
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in a geriatric care setting
