1. Schedule
- Shift: Days and nights; mostly 12-hour shifts, with some 8-hour shifts.
- Available shifts:
- 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekend: Every other weekend
- Holidays: Labor Day required; every other holiday thereafter
- Contract: 13 weeks
- On-call/Call-back: Not available
- Charge duties: Must be willing to take charge.
- Orientation: 2 hours with the LEAD team, followed by 1–2 shifts on the floor with another staff member.
2. Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to geriatric patients, including those with dementia.
- Monitor patients’ health conditions and report changes.
- Administer medications and treatments according to orders.
- Document assessments, care, and patient progress in PointClickCare (PCC).
- Support patient safety, infection control, and daily care needs.
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to maintain continuity of care.
- Take charge responsibilities when assigned.
- Participate in weekend and holiday coverage.

3. Required Experience & Qualifications
- Active nursing license required at submission.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Must be willing and able to take charge.
- Must be available for every other weekend and applicable holidays.
- Experience with geriatric and dementia patients is relevant.
- Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) is beneficial.
- BSN is not required.

4. Required Documents

5. Important Notes
- Local rule: Candidates within 80 miles, or those using GSS housing, receive adjusted rates.

- Backout/quit fee: $500 if the clinician backs out or quits with less than 14 days’ notice.
